Saturday, December 6th, 2008Greetings from Tosha, The Intern
Thursday, December 4th, 2008
Before coming to STANANDLOU I was unsure exactly how things took place in an ad agency and what the process a project went through. I had decided that, of all of my areas of study, with an ad agency is where my true passion laid.
I came in without any expectations or knowledge of what it would entail past what I’ve learned in textbooks. I feel that my training and experiences have pontificated what the idea of an internship should be. With that I feel relieved because I have many friends that spent an entire semester with a company and walked away still lacking the confidence and experience to find the career of their dreams.
I have grown quite found of the team at STANANDLOU and I feel fortunate to have learned so much through them. They have exposed me to more than I could have ever imagined and I feel that my broad exposure is a rarity to find as an intern.
I was given a variety of tasks that helped build my expertise and my confidence in my work. At times some of the projects seemed overwhelming and I questioned my ability but now, three months later, the same project is something I can produce efficiently and with more ease. Words cannot express my gratitude for the time I have got to spend at STANANDLOU and the one-on-one time I’ve received with everyone and their words of wisdom and experience they have embarked on me. It has been an honor to intern at STANANDLOU and the knowledge I walk away with unrivaled. -Tosha
