- Kate is a native of Louisiana, and loves it. She loves it because it is a place that's always fun, loud with great music, full of Creole and Cajun food, and steeped in a culture you can hardly find anywhere else.
Kate graduated from LSU as an International Studies major with a minor in Spanish. Some of these international studies were completed abroad in Vigo, Spain, in Galicia. It's pronounced "Ga-lee-the-uh," says Kate.
Just before working at STANANDLOU, Kate lived for a year in Spain, again, and supported her travels by teaching English in Santander, Cantabria. You might have guessed it - she loves to travel, and travel she does, to anywhere where they don't speak her language. Perhaps this is why she enjoys working here at STANANDLOU.
She loves her job as an account coordinator, probably because of the foosball table where she is developing a killer pass-tap-shoot maneuver rivaled only by Lou himself.
She is the girl who always stocks the tastiest chewing gum, either a treat for her co-workers or a hint as to the condition of our breath.
We hope to keep her as long as we can at STANANDLOU, but even though we love our tapas, and taunt each other with red capes and shouts of 'Toro! Toro!' and 'Ole!', she will one day go back to Spain to continue her career in advertising.
