Following success earlier this year at the local level of the ADDY Awards, STANANDLOU Advertising has received a Silver ADDY at the district level for their work on the political web campaign at www.dontdelay.us.

Earlier this year, the top-five Houston agency won seven Gold ADDYs, seven Silver ADDYs, over twenty Citations of Excellence, and the coveted Best in Show for Print.

“We are excited as an agency to have been recognized by our peers on the regional level,” said Lou Congelio of the award. “And we are even more excited to represent Houston at the national level and aid in establishing Houston as a major center for creative advertising.”

The winning entry was for a multimedia campaign consisting of a music video, Web site, and a sign intended to divert votes from an incumbent Congressman. It read, ‘Congressman For Sale,’ in the typical fashion of a ‘Home For Sale’ yard sign, followed by the web address, www.dontdelay.us.”

The regional ADDY award is the highest honor granted within the 10th District of the American Advertising Federation. Industry leaders judge the entries in over 100 categories. Top performers from the district go on to compete nationally later this year. The national ADDY award competition is the largest in the nation and receives over 60,000 entries annually.
