Little Mexico audio session had a few hiccups.

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

Was at Sound Works this morning recording the audio for a couple radio and TV spots for client, Little Mexico. John Swasey, from Pastorini-Bosby Talent, was the announcer and he was great!

Mark Meyer, Sound Works audio engineer, did another superlative edit and mix. Today was a lot of fun, we did a great job and nobody got hurt!

STANANDLOU Houston Advertising Agency
20 years in 20 days

The year is 1988. The Cold War is cooling off, the Iran-Contra Scandal is heating up; Reagan’s out, Bush is in. And Stan Mays and Lou Congelio decide to leave the security of a large advertising agency to start their own shop.

“We had no clients in our back pockets, no money in the bank, and few would argue, no brains,” says Lou Congelio, the Lou behind STANANDLOU.

But it didn’t take long for the duo to establish themselves as an award-winning, industry-leading, cutting-edge-ad-making machine.

And don’t worry, we’ll keep littering your inbox with our fascinating and culturally-irrelevant history every day until we reach 2008!

STANANDLOU “Heads” Head to Beavers!

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

Michelle and I went to Beavers after work and met up with some old friends. Of course I reacted to the sight of old friends like any other person would; I asked them to pose in Just Ask! t-shirts. beautiful night on the patio. Wonderful colors in the sky. William Hughes, the smartest person I know, joined us for a cigar and refreshments. William is the one with no hair! And this is our link to more info about STANANDLOU!
